Burnin' 'Thane Longboard Comp coming up!

Just trying to keep you readers posted on everything thats swirling around here at Jacks. So did we ever mention that we have the largest selection here of longboards and accessories in southern Oregon? Rayne, LandYachts, Loaded, Sector 9 just name a few. (oh yes we have even more then that!) We have a awesome longboard crew thats pushing the envelope and taking things past the limit! (speed limit that is!) Headed up by Chris and Jesse, this crew has been putting on comps and demos since summer and there is no stop in site! So Coming up they got the burnin' 'thane slide comp thats comin up thats sure to bring a crown...you gonna show up? Be there or be [].
These guys have been updating there sight with sick vids and pics so make sure you check them out at 541longboarding.com. As always, fully supported by Jacks. Keep it up guys and and everybody come out to the slide comp! Meet at Jacks (425 Highland Dr. Medford. OR) at 1 p.m. on April 11th and let the slide fest begin!

Southern Oregon Roller Derby!

Come on? Chicks who are down with smashin, slashin and pulling hair on skates is pretty rad. Ha maybe i am making them out to be a little to harsh but they aren't that brutal...well maybe a little. As one of there sponsors we get front row seat to all the action and believe me its awesome! So they got a bout comin in with a quickness and they want your support. Here are the details:

Time: Doors open at 6 bout starts at 7.
Cost: 7 bucks pre sale nd 12 at the door.


These girls are super awesome and they have been putting in some serious practice. So come on down to the armory and check the action. Jacks will be there so stop by our booth and say hello!

Take Care Josh!

People often take interest in whats going on here at Jacks Board House. Our good friend Josh saw the potential of Skateboarding and decided to document some of the skatboarding thats going on here. You can check his vids of some good medford shralpers on his channel (freeboarder) on Vimeo.com as well as youtube.com. Also check his sites for updated videos as well on westboarder.com! Josh took a teaching opportunity in Taiwan and will be missed for half the year. He stopped by the shop to pick up a new set of wheels for his skateboard for his outta country experience. Welcome Damon "Snax" Carpenter!

What? Two blog posts in one day? Epic! Yah we are on it and trying to update on the latest biz here at Jacks. So Snax came in the shop today from his week hiatus of his St. Patricks Holiday. (thats a whole other blog. possibly 3 in one day?) Snax has been hanging around since summer and killing it! 1rst in the White City Dub C hoedown, Second in the DC King of Street at the Department of Skateboarding in Portland, Or, a ad in LowCard and getting picked up by Nomatic Skateboards. Oh yah I forgot gettin on flow with Vox (thanks Tim Eberly!). Jeeze slow down Snax! Since he's been here he's been fam and TODAY we made it OFFICIAL!

We are here...we made it...still standing well (kinda) strong. Thats why we are doing this...more support from YOU. Thats right YOU the skater, the snow shredder or whatever you're into.
